Hi! My name is Valencia McWhorter. I am going to be your special education resource teacher for the 2023-2024 school year! I serve grades K-3.

I am a native of Mobile, Alabama. I completed my bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2009. I received my master's degree in special education at the University of South Alabama in 2023.

I am so excited about teaching! I can't wait to assist you in improving on your individual goals. Also, I hope you all enjoyed your summer! I can't wait to spend the next year learning and growing with you all!
